MONACO YACHT SHOW: MORE OFFER FOR CREW IN 2015

According to the superyachtnews.com, the Monaco Yacht Show once again focuses on crew unlike its predecessors. The 2015 Monaco Yacht Show is sponsored by Professional Yachting Association (PYA). The PYA last year focused on crew and held three Sea Changes Forum across the four-day show. President of the PYA, Captain Andrew Schofield, expressed his views last year that “I want the association to have a bigger presence in front of the crew.” The PYA is now partnering with the Captain and Crew Lounge to connect more with crew to achieve its last year objective in 2015.
Marketing and Development Manager Carey Secrett at the PYA said that “Through this partnership, the PYA hopes to engage with more yacht crew during the show and educate them on the essential work the association carried out around the world on their behalf.”
Secrett explained further that “The PYA will be using its presence in Monaco to highlight to crew the importance of being part of and supporting the activities of the only organization to represent them in this way. The more members the PYA has, the bigger its voice in the industry, and the more weight it carries with protecting the interests of professional crew worldwide.”
